Termius now supports the iPhone Duo, and version 8.0.6 of the SSH client also fixes mouse text selection, autocomplete delay and right-to-left text in the terminal.
It follows a busy few weeks for the app, which added a new terminal rendering engine in version 8.0.2 on October 14 and made proxy, agent forwarding, host chains and serial connections free on September 30.
Version 8.0.6 adds iPhone Duo support and three terminal fixes
The release notes for version 8.0.6 list four changes:
- Added iPhone Duo support
- Fixed terminal text selection when using a mouse
- Fixed input delay caused by shell integration (autocomplete) after connecting to some hosts
- Fixed right-to-left rendering issues in the terminal
Mouse support is relevant on the iPhone Duo, whose tablet mode works with a keyboard and mouse. Termius already has a multi-tab interface and split-view support for working in several sessions at once.

Recent Termius updates brought a faster terminal and free connection tools
Version 8.0.2 introduced a new terminal rendering engine powered by libghostty, which Termius describes as faster, smoother and more accurate. It also fixed an issue where pasting multiple lines of text could make Mosh sessions hang.
Version 7.9.0 moved proxy, agent forwarding, host chains and serial connections to the free plan. Version 7.8.0 added support for pasting images and files in Mosh sessions, so you can paste, drag and drop, use the paperclip button or use the share dialog to upload a file to the host.
In August, version 7.6.0 added OSC 8 hyperlinks and Alt+click support in the terminal, plus a hide-keyboard button for the keyboard add-on. The app picked up the Liquid Glass design in version 7.0.0 in October 2025.
Termius is free with Pro plans for sync and cloud storage
The free Termius Starter plan covers SSH, SFTP, Mosh, Telnet, port forwarding, serial connections, proxies and jump servers. It also includes snippets, smart autocomplete, AI that turns plain-language descriptions into shell commands, hardware FIDO2 keys and SSH key generation in the Secure Enclave with Face ID or Touch ID. You can also connect a Bluetooth keyboard, or use gestures and shaking the device to emulate keys like Tab and the arrows. The app is ad-free.
Termius Pro adds an encrypted cloud vault, sync across desktop and mobile devices, bookmarked session logs with notes, and integrations with AWS, DigitalOcean and Azure. The app is a free download that requires iOS 17.0 or later, and Termius Pro costs $15.00 a month or $119.00 a year on the App Store.
