Apple has released tvOS 14.7 for Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models. The update is a minor one and does not contain any new user-facing features.
What’s new in tvOS 14.7?
Apple’s tvOS 14.7 release notes only mention stability and performance improvements which means that any changes or updates are simply under the hood. Even tvOS 14.6 was a minor update. The last update to ship with new features was tvOS 14.5, which had a new color balance feature, which works with iPhones that feature Face ID. The software update also featured support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X controllers, which can be paired with Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models via Bluetooth.
Previously, tvOS 14 update was released with HomeKit camera support, multiuser support for gaming, AirPlay 2, Audio Sharing, picture-in-picture video playback, 4K YouTube, and more. New screen savers were also part of the update, along with support for Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and Xbox Adaptive Controllers

How to upgrade to tvOS 14.7?
To upgrade to tvOS 14.7, use your Apple TV remote to go to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software. Download and install the update using this interface. Once the software update is downloaded, your Apple TV might restart to complete the installation process.
While the recent tvOS 14.x updates might not have much new to offer, tvOS 15 is shaping up to be an interesting software update.
