The 2009 Perseid Meteor Showers will be start on 11th August after night and continue till sunrise on 12th August. If you live in North America you might be able to see them live by lying on the ground and looking straight up. If that’s not your thing, or you don’t live in North America, you can view the live video streams of Perseid Meteor Shower right here. The showers will be seen at these timings:
9 pm to 11 pm PST and 12 am to 5 am PST
You can also stay up to date with the event on Twitter by searching for the hashtag #meteorwatch arranged by the Newbury Astronomical Society in UK. I’ll add more links for live video streams as I find them.
