And for those who always wondered, the 16GB iPhone 3G S costs just $178.96 to make and is advertised for $199 ( contract charges not included ). This price doesn’t include the data plan revenue on top of it that AT&T earns from a 2 year contract, which costs around $720.
No wonder Steve Jobs and Apple are enjoying the recession.
