During the press conference on Friday, Steve jobs said that phones are not perfect and almost all smartphones have the problem of “Antennagate”. To show that Antennagate is not a unique problem to iPhone 4, Steve Jobs showed some video demonstrations of some popular smartphone having the same type of problem. They showed the same type of issue in Blackberry Bold 9700, HTC Droid Eris and Samsung Omnia. Steve Jobs also mentioned that even Nokia has the same kind of issues.

Consumer Reports Still can’t Recommend iPhone 4 After The Free Bumpers/Cases Solution from Apple
About a week ago, Consumer Reports mentioned in their report that they cant recommend iPhone 4 because of signal reception issues and just after that report they ranked iPhone 4 as the number one smartphone currently available. They mentioned that an iPhone 4 case or bumper would solve the reception problem. Now when Apple has announced that they would give away free iPhone 4 cases to every iPhone 4 buyer still Consumer Reports can’t recommend iPhone 4.
Steve Jobs called Bloomberg report “total bull$#!t”
Just a few days a ago, a report by Bloomberg claimed that Apple senior engineer and antenna expert Ruben Caballero had expressed his concerns about the antenna design of iPhone 4 to Steve Jobs and other Apple authorities, long before its release, but they just ignored it. In Friday’s press conference, when Steve Jobs was asked about this report, he called it "total bull$#!t":
iPhone 4 drop call rate is greater than iPhone 3GS
Apple shared some really interesting facts in their press conference on Friday. A lot of Apple fans are satisfied after the conference, although, in reality, most users were already satisfied and only a few users were having real issues with iPhone 4. Apple shared the statistics of dropped call rate on iPhone 4 and interestingly the percentage is greater than on iPhone 3GS. Apple claims that the antenna design of iPhone 4 is better than previous version of iPhones but due to some reason the drop call rate of iPhone 4 is less than one percent greater than iPhone 3GS.
iPhone 4 Proximity sensor issue to be solved with next software update
One of the issues reported with iPhone 4 is of proximity issues which cause problems during calls. Although only a few people have this issue. Today, Apple announced in their live press conference that they are currently working on a proximity sensor issue fix and they would soon give another software update to solve it.
Apple will start shipping White iPhone 4 by the end of July
Just before the launch of iPhone 4, Apple had told in an official statement that white iPhone 4 models are a little bit more challenging to manufacture than the black iPhone 4. So, it was announced that the white iPhone 4 would be available after mid of July. But during the iPhone 4 launch in UK, two white iPhone 4 were spotted in a video by Sky News, way before its was supposed to be launched. Later it was found out that those were review units of white iPhone 4 and they were not given to regular iPhone 4 buyers. Firefox Home for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad now available in App Store
The much hyped Firefox Home app, which was under heavy focus as to whether it will be published in the App Store or not by Apple, has finally been released. It’s a cloud based app which lets you access your bookmarks, Firefox history and open tabs on your computer ( it works with the Firefox Sync extension ). It’s an interesting and unique idea, seemingly inspired by the desktop/mobile syncing capabilities of Android.
