iOS 4.3 Release Expected on February 14th at 10 am PST

Apple has been releasing iOS 4.3 betas to developers for testing. These betas have shown a hint of new features that will be available in the final build such as Personal Hotspot and the likes. Macstories have been informed through a source that iOS 4.3 final build will be released by Apple on February 14th at 10 am PST.

Expected features in the final build of iOS 4.3 include improved support for AirPlay, bug fixes and code maintenance as well as iTunes app subscriptions. Gestures for iPad were available in the betas but they wont be available in the final build according to Apple. Keep in mind that The Daily already uses some of the APIs that are expected to be released with iOS 4.3 so the release will be sooner thane expected.

Gruber expects iOS 4.3 to release as early as February 10th, the launch day for Verizon iPhone 4. it’s just a guess on his behalf. There were also rumors of an event to be held on 9th February, but so far there hasn’t been any word on that by Apple. It would also be strange of Apple to hold an event a day before the Verizon iPhone 4 launch to announce any new product.

Whatever the case, we’ll keep February 14th marked on our calendars. If Apple does release iOS 4.3 on Valentine’s Day, users might be paying more attention to updating their iOS devices instead of paying attention to people who deserve it.
