Apple to introduce in-app events on the App Store on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15

Apple to launch a new App Store feature ‘in-app’ events on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. The company told developers that starting next week, their in-app events will be easily discovered directly from the App Store to showcase the event and expand their reach.

In-app events are events within an app such as movie premieres, live-streamed shows, game competitions, and more like the musical concerts in the Fortnite gaming app by Epic Games. iPhone and iPad users will be able to discover in-app events of their favorite or newly found apps right on their respective App Stores.
