Apple reduces trade-in values for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac

Apple has reduced the trade-in value of its devices in the United States. Now, owners of older iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac models looking to trade in their device for an upgrade will get less credit ahead of the Holiday season.

To make it easier for consumers to switch to Apple devices or upgrade to the latest model, Apple allows them to trade in their existing devices for credit towards their next purchase or get a Gift Card. In addition to Apple devices, select Android smartphones are also eligible for trade-in.
