Apple Releases World’s First Thunderbolt Display

Apple has revealed the world’s first thunderbolt display.

The 27-inch LED display comes in a 16:9 form factor, almost has an edge-to-edge design and it uses IPS technology to widen viewing angles. The display will work with any Thunderbolt enabled Mac, that includes the portable line-up or the desktop Macs. Furthermore, they also use LED backlighting to ensure full brightness.

As one would expect the display comes with a built-in HD camera, 2.1 speaker system to ensure great sound. Furthermore, it also integrates three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire 800 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port. And finally, a MagSafe charger to keep your Mac notebooks charged.

The display also requires the latest Snow Leopard update (OS X 10.6.8). We’re not sure about you, but this bad-boy is really getting us excited, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it!
