Apple’s upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 lineup is expected to be unveiled on September 7 at its special fall event “Far Out.” Ahead of the event, a leaker is claiming that the lineup will include a new shade of the popular (PRODUCT)RED colorway. Other than that, Series 8 will feature the same design as last year’s Series 7.
New tidbits about upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 leaked
The new report comes from ShrimpApplePro who posted a series of tweets regarding Apple’s upcoming launches. According to the leaker, the red of (PRODUCT) RED is going to be a new shade of red. In addition to this, case sizing will be available in 41mm and 55mm variants. The 55mm variant likely refers to the size of the rumored Apple Watch Pro.
In addition to this, Apple is going to add more glue to the product box of the Apple Watch Series 8 and iPhone 14 so that it will make it more difficult for people to pass opened products as new. ShrimpApplePro also says contents inside the box are still the same with “little to no difference from the Series 7,” a source said.
The leaker also says production of the upcoming Series 8 is stable and so is the stock. This means shipping delays will be at a minimum when it launches. As for the rumored second-generation Apple Watch SE, there are not any details about it in the thread.
I did mention in the Telegram group that there is a bigger Pro and a SE watch. Nothing major on the SE. the 8 Pro…. Well let’s keep it a secret to be surprised at the event. After all it is an “One more thing”
As per previous reports, we know that the upcoming standard and budget Apple Watch will feature the same design as Series 7. On the other hand, the new Apple Watch Pro will offer a bunch of new features.
