Fortnite has been the most famous battle royale (BR) game ever since it came out. At launch, Fortnite made a huge impact because the game’s building mechanics were new and different from any other battle royale game. The building mechanics forced players to not only shoot but also think about their movement. On top, Fortnite also came out with balanced weapons, great map design, awesome skins, and excellent graphics.
The game had taken the world for over 2 to 3 years and it is honestly ignorant to deny what Fortnite has done. Not to forget how many opportunities were given to the Fortnite community. Fortnite gave creators a chance to grow their fanbase and push their lives in an amazing direction. Therefore, the game is my personal favorite and best in terms of influence and helping the community grow, even in 2022.
Fortnite has the best features and is available on multiple platforms
One of the reasons for Fortnite’s success is that the game is available across platforms, from phones to laptops to even hand-me-down desktops. This created an expectation that the game would be graphically bland, but as we got new updates over time, the graphics changed a lot and the visual effects got even better.
In 2022, Fortnite has great graphics and amazing gameplay and Epic Games continues to more features to make it look realistic and beautiful. Fortnite also brings more events and fun modes to the game every now and then.
Fortnite Chapter 4 brought new features including a new island, new weapons, shockwave hammer, dirt bikes, flying jellies to restore health and shield, and the ability to roll around in a snowball.
New power-ups called Reality Augments give awesome perks to choose from. Players can claim in-game territory with squads by placing banners to declare their area, and exclusive skins in the latest battle pass include Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher and Doom Slayer.
Fortnite Chapter 4 has received some graphical updates too, thanks to Unreal Engine 5.1. This includes nanite for highly-detailed architectural geometry, lumen for high-quality ray-traced reflections on glossy materials and water, virtual shadow maps for highly detailed shadowing, and super temporal resolution for high-quality visuals at a high framerate.
Fortnite is therefore my personal favorite battle royale game available on any platform. Epic Games have done an amazing job to keep the game fresh and exciting for both veteran and new players.
