Google’s Street View app lands on iPhone and Android

Google has separated Street View from Google Maps on iPhone and Android and launched a standalone app for the popular feature, including the ability to view and upload photo spheres.

Starting today, users can download and install the Street View app on iPhone or Android phones. The new app allows users to explore 360 degree views of different locations, both indoors and outdoors. Users can also browse collections of locations and photo spheres submitted by users.

Users can also create and upload photo spheres through the Street View app on iPhone or Android or through supported spherical cameras. Uploaders get a profile section in the app where they can keep track of all their uploaded photo spheres.

The new Street View app replaces the Photo Sphere Camera app for iPhone and Street View feature from Google Maps on Android. Street View can be downloaded from below links.
