  1. So let me get this straight, at this point in time there is no way to keep the iPod Touch 3gen jail broken correct? So every time I restart the device I have to restore using blackra1n (or if I want to start over then I use Itunes) right? Isn’t there any permanent way of doing this?

  2. do you need to instal like appulous or something with cydia or do you get the apps right from cydia?
and are there any reported problems with this because i just got an ipod touch 3G 32GB and i dont really want to wreck it.
    your help is greatly appreciated

  3. I need help, I have an ipod touch it is 3rd gen with 3.2.1 and I went to blackra1n and it says “entering recovery” on where it used to “say make it rain” my ipod touch is now in recovery mode……

  4. it looks there are a few issues on the jailbreak which Reading the above has made me wary about carrying out the jailbreak. Do you have to connect to start everytime? Is it ok to leave on sleep 24 hrs as this is what I normally do?? Am keen to get going but now a bit unsure

  5. Check out the troubleshooting guide to find out if your iPod supports a tethered or un-tethered jailbreak. Leaving on your iPod Touch wouldn't provide any issues if you have a tethered jailbreak, turning it off would require you to reconnect it to your PC, ONLY if your iPod is one of the models that supports a tethered jailbreak.

  6. i jailbreaked my ipod and the it said it's jailbroken but the screen is blank for at least 15 minutes!!
    what to do??

  7. blackra1n says done, wait for reboot but my ipod 1st gen screen is just a glowing black colour. ive tried over 50 times now and no luck. any ideas?

  8. iv got a ipodtouch 2ng and its jailbroken could i update it to version 3.1.2 while its jailbroken???
