Microsoft might launch Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family in multiple regions soon

According to ads spotted in New Zealand, Microsoft may be planning to launch Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family in multiple regions soon, with the US most likely to be one of the first countries to get it.

Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family is Microsoft’s Game Pass service that aims to allow users to share their Xbox Game Pass subscription with their friends or family to enjoy the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate while making it more affordable.

Microsoft is advertising Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family on the PC Xbox App

As spotted by a ResetEra user and shared by Idle Sloth on Twitter, Microsoft has started advertising ‘Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family’ on the PC Xbox App. The subscription offer is $ 39.95 a month, but Wario64’s research suggests that this is pricing for New Zealand, not the US.

This new tier will give access to all the Game Pass Ultimate benefits on a total of five Xbox accounts at a much lower price, which means full access to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Remember, Microsoft is not forcing users to live in the same house or internet to have the benefits of this subscription tier, as long as all the members added to the subscription service are from the same country they can enjoy the subscription tier, which makes this more intriguing and a hard-to-pass deal.

As mentioned by Idle Sloth in his tweet, Microsoft might officially announce Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family in the US on its upcoming showcase “Developer Direct”. If it is true then this showcase will be the first Xbox-exclusive showcase in a long time.
