New ‘This Week on Apple Music’ has debuted on Apple’s music streaming service. The new feature will summarize the five biggest happenings on Apple Music, weekly like new albums, songs, artists, and more. This is an opportunity for subscribers to explore new content or get the latest updates on their favorite artists, albums, and more.

Every Friday get the latest on Apple Music via ‘This Week on Apple Music’

The company announced the new feature on the music streaming service’s Twitter account, it said that “Every Friday, get a breakdown of the five biggest things happening across Apple Music and dive deeper into the highlighted stories with albums, playlists, videos, radio episodes, and more.” Subscribers can get updates by following the hashtag #ThisWeekOnAppleMusic.

This week on Apple Music, from July 9 till July 16:

  • Zane Lowe interviews Jennifer Lopez about her collaboration with Puerto Rican singer, Rauw Alejandro.
  • Summer’s hottest new release ‘Permission to Dance’ by BTS
  • St.Vincent’s final episode of WSTV Radio
  • This month’s Up next artist is Amorphous
  • IDK’s new album ‘USEE4YOURSELF’ is available now

To stay competitive and to offer features apart from rival services, Apple Music recently announced Lossless Audio and Spatial Audio support on the service to bring Dolby Atmos to surround sound at home in high-quality audio. In addition to iPhone and iPad, the new audio features are expanded to HomePod and HomePod mini. Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats said that;

“Apple Music is making its biggest advancement ever in sound quality. Listening to a song in Dolby Atmos is like magic. The music comes from all around you and sounds incredible. Now we are bringing this truly innovative and immersive experience to our listeners with music from their favorite artists like J Balvin, Gustavo Dudamel, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Kacey Musgraves, The Weeknd, and so many more. Subscribers will also be able to listen to their music in the highest audio quality with Lossless Audio. Apple Music as we know it is about to change forever.”
