Installation

Installing a tvOS developer beta is not a simple process. We have written a detailed guide on how to install tvOS 15.6 beta on Apple TV, but it requires Xcode.

If you are really interested in trying out the latest tvOS beta updates, we suggest opting into the public beta which is as simple as going to Settings > System > Software Update on your Apple TV, and enabling ‘Get Beta Updates’. This is perhaps the easiest method of installing beta updates on any Apple product.
