Watch This Photoshoot With iPad Used As A Light Source [Video]

Seen a lot of amazing videos telling you how ‘magical’ and ‘electric’ the iPad is? Well, watch this one and you’ll know its a lot more than that! Famous photographer and filmmaker Jesse Rosten, used an array of 9 iPads as a light source for a model’s photoshoot. Enough light was generated when each iPad was cranked up to its full brightness allowing Jesse to shoot some awesome pictures which you can see in the video below.

The photographer said:

“Eventually, it dawned on me that, given the right context, the iPad screen is actually pretty bright. I know that for a fact because I measured it with my light meter (1/60, f1.4 at ISO800 from about 1.5 feet). You know once the light meter has come out of the bag, there’s no going back. Naturally, we needed to do a photoshoot using iPads as the light source.”

Well of course, this is not a practical approach for daily photography usage, but it does show creativity nonetheless. Watch the video and tell us what you think!
