blackra1n RC2 coming soon with fixes and support for iPod Touch 2G MC model

George Hotz released an iPhone OS 3.1.2 jailbreak tool called blackra1n for Windows and Mac a few weeks ago. While it made jailbreaking very easy ( process completed in 30 seconds for some ), there were some bugs and issues with iPod Touch 2G MC model, iPhone 3G and 3GS support. George will be releasing blackra1n RC2 tomorrow which fixes for all these models.

Keep in mind that iPod Touch 2G MC models will get tethered jailbreak, which means they’ll have to be connected to your PC or Mac to start again after a reboot. Icy has also been fixed, although we would recommended you to use Cydia. Stay tuned to this blog for more updates on blackra1n RC2. i haveiphone 3gs ver 3.1 jailbreaked,,, i m waiting for the unlocking solution of 5.11.07 modem firmware,,,
plz reply if after tomorrows upgrade i ll be able to unlock my iphone 3gs

can you all help me determin if i can jailbreak my itouch from all i have seen i dont think it can be done at this time. I have a 32 gig, 3rd gen itouch with 3.1.2 an it but the model is an MC model. now i have not upgraded it from a earlyer version i got it recently. I think the dev team ( i think that is what they are called) are going to release a jail break compatible with all iphone and itouch no mater what model or type. but i am not sure when this will be. i could be rong on this for i am learning all this tech stuff now. please if you can clearify what i have gatherd and please let me know what i can do with this itouch if anything
