HomeView comes in four colors, but only the tabletop model gets all four. The tabletop version is offered in silver, starlight, rose pink, and Space Gray, while the wall-mounted version is limited to Space Gray and silver.
Both models cost $299 in the U.S. and ship Friday, November 13. Pre-orders opened October 13 on apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app. Our HomeView price and release date post covers the display, Siri AI, and the rest of the launch details.
Starlight and rose pink are tabletop only
The tabletop HomeView pairs a 7-inch Liquid Retina display with a domed speaker base. A stainless steel hinge connects the two, so the screen tilts for comfortable viewing on a kitchen counter, nightstand, or side table. Each finish comes with a color-matched USB-C cable.
Starlight and rose pink do not carry over to the wall-mounted model. Anyone who wants either finish has to buy the tabletop HomeView with the speaker base.
The nightstand pitch comes down to the display. Automatic brightness drops to 0.3 nits in a dark room and climbs to 500 nits in a sunlit one, and True Tone adjusts the color through the day. The base enclosure is made from 100 percent recycled aluminum, and so is the enclosure of the wall-mounted model.
The wall-mounted HomeView trades the speaker base for a separate mount
HomeView (Wall Mounted) has the same 7-inch display and the same feature set, in Space Gray or silver. It drops the domed base, so audio comes from two custom drivers in the display, with computational audio tuned for sitting on a wall. The tabletop model adds a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators for bass.
The wall-mounted model attaches with one of three mounts from Schneider Home, and you can install it yourself or hire a professional. The Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector starts at $59.95 and the Power Mount AC Wired starts at $79.95, and both can be ordered now. The Power Mount PoE Wired costs $129.95 and arrives in early 2027.
Either model also works as the hub for Apple Home Collection accessories. With the cheapest mount, the wall-mounted HomeView comes to $358.95, compared with $299 for the tabletop model in any color.
HomeView launches in eight countries and skips the European Union
Pre-orders for both models are open in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, and the UK. HomeView is not sold in the European Union because Siri AI is not yet available on iPhone there, and our HomeView availability post lists where each country stands.
South Africa goes through Apple Authorized Resellers. Singapore pre-orders open Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. SGT.
