Apple HomeView costs $299 in the United States whether you buy the countertop model with the domed speaker base or the wall-mounted version that skips it. Pre-orders opened October 13, and both models ship Friday, November 13.
Both models carry the same $299 price in the United States, but HomeView (Wall Mounted) needs a mount that is priced separately, so hanging one on the wall costs more.
HomeView (Wall Mounted) swaps the speaker base for two display drivers
Both versions share the 7-inch Liquid Retina display and the same feature set, including face recognition for up to six people and Siri AI. Either one also works as the home hub for Apple Home Collection accessories, and setup on both needs a compatible iPhone or iPad.
The countertop HomeView adds a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators in the base, on top of two full-range drivers in the display. The wall-mounted model has no base, so it relies on those two display drivers, with computational audio tuned for sitting against a wall.
The countertop model comes in silver, starlight, rose pink, and Space Gray, and ships with a matching USB-C cable. The wall-mounted model is limited to Space Gray and silver.
Adding the cheapest mount puts HomeView (Wall Mounted) at $358.95
HomeView (Wall Mounted) attaches to the wall with one of three mounts from Schneider Home, and you can install it yourself or hire a professional. The countertop model has no add-on cost. Schneider Home prices the mounts by how the power is wired.
- Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector starts at $59.95
- Power Mount AC Wired starts at $79.95
- Power Mount PoE Wired costs $129.95 and arrives in early 2027
With the USB-C Wall Connector, the wall-mounted model comes to $358.95. The AC Wired mount makes it $378.95, and the Power Mount PoE Wired brings it to $428.95 once it ships. The first two mounts can be ordered now from apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app.
Both models launch in eight countries, and the EU is not one of them
The $299 figure is the price in the United States. Pre-orders for both models are open in the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, and the UK. Our HomeView countries post lists where each one stands.
HomeView is not sold in the European Union because Siri AI is not available on iPhone there yet. In South Africa, both models go through Apple Authorized Resellers. Singapore pre-orders open Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. SGT.
