Apple HomeView Countries: Where You Can Buy It at Launch

Apple HomeView goes on sale in eight countries on Friday, November 13. Those are the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and South Africa. Apple is not selling the smart display in the European Union.

Apple’s announcement lays out the country list and the reason for the gaps. Pre-orders for the tabletop and wall-mounted versions, both priced at $299 in the U.S., opened on Tuesday, October 13. Apple HomeView countries and availability

Apple HomeView is sold in eight countries, with pre-orders open in six

Customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and India can order Apple HomeView and Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) from apple.com/store and the Apple Store app. Singapore pre-orders begin on Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. SGT. South Africa works differently, with orders going through Apple Authorized Resellers instead of Apple’s own store.

Every country gets the same ship date, and the table below puts the schedule together.

Country Pre-orders open Available
United States October 13 November 13
United Kingdom October 13 November 13
Canada October 13 November 13
Australia October 13 November 13
New Zealand October 13 November 13
India October 13 November 13
Singapore October 15, 9 a.m. SGT November 13
South Africa Through Apple Authorized Resellers November 13

Both models cost $299 in the U.S. The wall-mounted version needs a Schneider Home mount, and the first option starts at $59.95.

Apple has not named any country outside those eight for Apple HomeView

Apple’s list is the full list of markets at launch. That leaves out Japan, Mexico, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and every EU member state, among others. Buyers in those countries have no way to order Apple HomeView from Apple on November 13.

Apple has not announced a second wave or a date for more countries. Any expansion would be a separate announcement.

Apple HomeView is not sold in the European Union because Siri AI is missing there

Apple says Apple HomeView is not available for sale in the EU because Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS in the region. The company adds that it is working with the EU to find a path forward, but it has not given a timeline for Apple HomeView in any EU country.

The gap traces back to June, when Apple blamed Digital Markets Act rules for the Siri AI delay in the EU. Apple HomeView is built around Siri AI, so the display waits on that decision.

Siri AI on Apple HomeView runs in English only, in the same eight countries

Siri AI is a beta in Apple HomeView software version 27.2 and works in English in all eight countries. Canadian French support arrives later through a free software update.

Setup also needs a compatible iPhone or iPad. Anyone ordering should have one of those ready when the display arrives.

Apple Home Collection accessories ship to fewer countries than Apple HomeView

Apple Home Collection is the matching range of cameras, thermostats and a lock built with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. It starts arriving in December, with select accessories following in early 2027. Apple lists a narrower set of countries for it.

Accessory Countries
LG Video Doorbell Wired, LG Floodlight Cam, LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In and LG Indoor Cam Plug-In United States, Canada, United Kingdom
LG Smart Deadbolt Lock United States, Canada
LG Smart Thermostat and LG Temperature Sensor United States, Canada
Schneider Home Smart Thermostat and Schneider Home Room Sensor United States, Canada

Australia, India, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa are not on that list for any Apple Home Collection accessory. Buyers there can still pair Matter and Works with Apple Home accessories from other brands with Apple HomeView.

Our Take

It seems that Apple made a decision to sell Apple HomeView only where Siri AI works, since a smart display that cannot answer in the local language would feel unfinished. Buyers in the EU and everywhere outside the eight countries are left waiting. For everyone else, the first units ship on Friday, November 13.
