Apple TV+ new “Pinecone & Pony” animated series for kids will premiere on April 8, 2022

A new Apple TV+ Original animated series for kids and families “Pinecone & Pony” will premiere on Friday, April 8, 2022. Based on Kate Beaton’s “The Princess and the Pony” book, the new kids series is produced by DreamWorks Animations and First Generation Films. And it is executive-produced by Beaton, the New York Times bestselling author, along with Mackenzie Lush and Christina Piovesan.

The upcoming 8-episode animated comedy series features the voices of Alicia Richardson, Maria Nash, Rachel House, Andy Hull, Chase W. Dillon, Thom Allison, and Viola Abley.

The premiere date of the new animated series is announced with the release of the “Pinecone & Pony” official trailer which introduces the young Pinecone and her friends with a wild imagination and the will to change the world with their warrior spirit.

About a young girl named Pinecone who, with the help of her best friend Pony, is learning that there’s more than one way to be a warrior. Together they’ll show their world how to challenge expectations, and that life can be a fun-filled adventure if you let it.

Recently, it was also reported that Apple TV+ will premiere new “Puffins Impossible” animated series starring Johnny Deep. The upcoming 18-episodes series will showcase the adventures of Puffins and his group of arctic birds with superpowers.
 
The new series will join the growing library of Kids and families’ original series and shows on Apple TV+.
The new series will premiere alongside an expanding and award-winning lineup of original films and series for kids and families on Apple TV+, including the recently premiered critically-acclaimed “El Deafo”; “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” and “Harriet the Spy” from The Jim Henson Company; “Hello, Jack! Santomero; Daytime Emmy Award-winning “Ghostwriter” and “Helpsters” from Sesame Workshop; Academy Award-nominated animated film “Wolfwalkers”; new series and specials from Peanuts and WildBrain including “The Snoopy Show” season two, “Snoopy in Space” season two and “For Auld Lang Syne”; and “Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth,” the Daytime Emmy Award-winning television event based on the New York Times bestselling book and TIME Best Book of the Year by Oliver Jeffers.
