The 50 companies selected for the 2023 rankings were narrowed down from a primary list of the 1,000 largest companies in the United States ranked by revenue and 500 non-U.S. companies from Fortune’s Global 500 database with revenues of $10 billion or more. The study included nine criteria that executives, directors, and analysts had to use to rate the companies:

To determine the best-regarded companies in 52 industries, Korn Ferry asked executives, directors, and analysts to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed.

Based on a survey of almost 3,760 company executives, directors, and analysts, the rankings for corporate reputation were determined. Apple managed to dominate across the board when broken down into subcategories, thanks to its overall score of 8.65 points. The tech giant once again managed to dominate the Computer industry rank, as it did in 2022.

Apple also topped many other categories which include Innovation, People Management, Use of Corporate Assets, Social Responsibility, Quality of Management, Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment Value, Quality of Products and Services, and Global Competitiveness.
