Apple’s new iPod lineup revealed along with part numbers

A reliable source at the Apple Insider forums has provided a list of the new upcoming iPod lineup which shows no storage capacity increases for the iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle and only an upgrade from 120 GB to 160 GB for the iPod Classic. The iPod Touch is entirely missing from the line up which is being attributed to the rumored camera related technical issues that the first batch of iPod Touch shipments had. Significant changes to the Nike + iPod are also expected.

It is rather odd that Apple keep the same storage capacities after a line up refresh, since they’ve increased the capacities on the iPod Nano almost every year while at the same time cutting the prices on them. We’ll see soon for sure though. Not having an iPod Touch 3G with camera announcement at the Rock and Roll event would be a major letdown. Here’s the list:
