Beats has launched Beats 360, a new pair of over-ear headphones priced at $349.99. They combine active noise cancellation, Personalized Spatial Audio, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, and up to 32 hours of listening time with a design built for workouts, travel and everyday use.
Beats 360 also introduces interchangeable ear and headband cushions, a new acoustic platform, nine microphones, USB-C charging and dedicated controls on both earcups. The headphones work with Apple and Android devices.
Custom Sound With Personalized Spatial Audio
Beats 360 uses a fully bespoke sound system with drivers that feature three-layer diaphragms and dual neodymium magnets. Beats says the setup is designed to deliver more power and precision across the audio spectrum.
Adaptive EQ adjusts acoustic frequencies based on the user’s fit and seal. Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking is also supported for music, movies and gaming.
Beats’ Most Advanced Active Noise Cancellation
Beats 360 features the company’s most advanced Active Noise Cancellation system, with up to 1.75 times more total noise cancellation than Beats Studio Pro.
Transparency mode lets users hear more of their surroundings without removing the headphones. The headphones also use an array of microphones for ANC and voice pickup.
IPX4 Resistance For Workouts
Beats 360 is the first over-ear Beats headphone with an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. The rating is designed to handle sweat and water splashes, making the headphones suitable for running, workouts and everyday use.
The ear cushions use acoustically engineered memory foam and are shaped to create a seal around the ears. The headband also has its own memory foam cushion, while telescoping stainless steel arms and individually rotating earcups provide an adjustable fit.
Swappable Ear And Headband Cushions
The ear and headband cushions can both be removed and replaced. Every Beats 360 includes color-matched Performance Knit cushions with a soft, breathable feel.
Beats also offers additional Cushion Kits in different colors and materials. UltraPlush cushions have a smooth finish, giving users another option for comfort and appearance.
Up To 32 Hours Of Battery Life
Beats 360 provides up to 32 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled.
Fast Fuel charging provides up to one hour of playback from a five-minute charge. The headphones use USB-C for charging.
Beats 360 weighs 294.5 grams and folds flat for carrying or storage. A woven ripstop fabric case is included.
Nine Microphones For ANC And Calls
Beats 360 has nine microphones in total. Eight are used for Active Noise Cancellation, while three are used for voice pickup, with two of those also shared with the ANC system.
A beam-forming microphone system and voice-processing technology help keep the user’s voice clear during calls while reducing background noise.
Physical Controls On Both Earcups
The right earcup has a volume rocker and play/pause button. The left earcup has the power button and a listening mode button.
The play/pause control can also be used for calls and media playback. Pressing it once can answer a call or mute and unmute, while additional presses can end calls or skip tracks.
Pressing and holding the control can also activate Siri or an Android voice assistant.
Apple And Android Compatibility
Beats 360 works with both Apple and Android devices.
On Apple devices, the headphones support one-touch pairing, iCloud pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, Find My, hands-free Hey Siri and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.
Android users get Fast Pair, Audio Switch, Find Hub and voice assistant support. The Beats app for Android can be used to adjust product settings.
Beats 360 uses Bluetooth 5.3 and can also work as standard Bluetooth headphones with compatible devices, although some features may be limited outside the supported Apple and Android experiences.

Beats 360 costs $349.99 and comes in four color combinations:
