Apple introduced the Celosia wallpaper collection with iPadOS 27 at WWDC 2026, bringing a fresh set of default wallpapers to the iPad. You do not need to install the iPadOS 27 beta to use them. We have made the full-resolution wallpapers available below so you can use them on any compatible iPad today.
This guide explains what the new iPadOS 27 Celosia wallpapers look like, where to download them, and how to apply them using the Settings app or the Lock Screen wallpaper editor. While the Dynamic wallpaper is animated in iPadOS 27, the version available to download here is a static image.

What the iPadOS 27 Celosia wallpapers look like
Apple has adopted a unified wallpaper design across its major platforms this year. The iPadOS 27 Celosia wallpapers share the same visual language as the iOS 27 Celosia and macOS 27 Golden Gate wallpapers, using layered curved shapes that form a stylized “27.” While each platform has its own variation, they all draw from the same artwork, giving Apple’s 2026 software lineup a more consistent look.
The iPadOS 27 Celosia collection includes four variants: Light, Dark, Color, and Dynamic. Although the Dynamic wallpaper is animated on devices running iPadOS 27, the version available here is a high-resolution static image. Each wallpaper features layered abstract shapes, soft gradients, and multiple color treatments that work well on both the Lock Screen and Home Screen.

Apple is expected to release iPadOS 27 later this year. Once the update becomes available, the animated Dynamic wallpaper will be included in the built-in wallpaper picker on supported iPads.
