Front glass panels of iPhone 15 Pro models sport thinner bezels, subtle curve

Apple is gearing up for the release of its iPhone 15 lineup in September, and leaks surrounding the new hardware have already begun to surface. One reliable hardware leaker, ShrimpApplePro, has shared a video that allegedly shows the front glass panels that will be used on the upcoming iPhone models.

iPhone 15 front glass panels revealed in leaked video

In the video, we see three front glass panels that seem to confirm some of the rumors surrounding the iPhone 15 lineup. The left panel is expected to be for the iPhone 15 Pro and features the standard display size and Dynamic Island with noticeably thinner bezels than the iPhone 14 Pro. The middle panel, which is clearly the largest of the three front glass panels, is likely for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and sports the same Dynamic Island at the top, with even thinner bezels and larger screen space. The ultra-thin bezels paired with a subtle curve will make the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max display appear more immersive than any iPhone screen to date.

The third panel is differentiated by its comparably thicker border, which is similar to the bezel width on the iPhone 14 lineup. The addition of the Dynamic Island on non-Pro models is the upgrade for iPhone 15. This means that even if you opt for a non-Pro model, you can still enjoy some of the features that were previously exclusive to the Pro lineup.

ShrimpApplePro claims that the video is authentic and was sourced from Douyin, the Chinese counterpart to TikTok. As with any hardware leaks, it’s important to take them with a grain of salt, but ShrimpApplePro has a reliable track record when it comes to Apple leaks.

If these leaks are accurate, it seems that Apple is continuing its trend of reducing bezel sizes and offering more screen space with each new iPhone release. The addition of a subtle curve to the screen will likely make the display feel even more immersive, making the iPhone 15 lineup an exciting prospect for Apple fans.
