Google Photos has added several new tools for editing, organizing and remixing photos. The latest updates include AI-powered editing prompts, a digital wardrobe, new photo styles, Remix templates and more detailed markup controls.
The features cover different parts of the Photos experience, from automatically organizing clothes in your library to giving old photos a 35mm film or early-2000s digicam look.
Photos In Gemini Spark Can Edit Multiple Photos
Photos in Gemini Spark can handle photo edits through a single prompt. You can use it to select a group of family portraits, brighten them and prepare the best shots for sharing without editing each photo individually.

Google Photos Can Build A Digital Wardrobe
The Wardrobe feature automatically catalogs clothing that appears in your photos. It can then use those items to create a digital closet that you can browse and use for virtual styling.
The feature also lets you try new looks virtually, using the clothing already found in your photo library.
Moods Adds Vintage Photo Styles
Google Photos has added Moods, a collection of editing styles that adapts to the photo being edited. The styles include looks inspired by 35mm film and 2000s digital cameras.
This gives photos a more vintage appearance without requiring users to manually adjust individual editing settings.
Remix Adds 15 New Templates
Remix now includes 15 additional templates for turning ordinary photos into stylized creations. The new options include red carpet-inspired images, whimsical birthday cards and photo booth-style shots.
The templates provide preset formats that can transform photos without requiring users to build an edit from scratch.
Markup Gets More Editing Controls
Google Photos has also upgraded its Markup tool with several new controls. A new redact pen can be used to blur sensitive information, while thickness sliders provide more precise control when drawing or sketching over an image.
New fonts are also available for adding text, giving users more options when annotating or customizing photos.
