How to make iTunes 10 Colorful again [Mac only]

iTunes10_Color_Icons We don’t know what Apple were thinking, but with iTunes 10, they seem to have lost there sense of color. Also, don’t even get us started on the ‘traffic lights’ buttons. Luckily, for Mac users, there’s a way to get the colorful icons back in iTunes 10. Here’s how:

  1. Quit iTunes 10. Make sure you quit it from the dock or the menu bar on top.
  2. Go to the applications folder, right click on the iTunes app icon and click on ‘Show Package Contents’.
  3. Download this file and extract it. There’s a file inside ‘iTunes.rsrc’.
  4. Replace the one in the package contents with the ‘iTunes.rsrc’ you just downloaded.

That’s it. You now have your colorful icons back!
