Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Order Shortcut Had A Deadline

Apple gave iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max buyers a way to speed up their pre-order through the Apple Store’s Get Ready feature. The option let customers prepare their device selection, trade-in and payment details before pre-orders opened on September 12.

The deadline for using the faster setup was 9 p.m. PT on Friday, September 11. That deadline has now passed, but the feature is worth knowing about for anyone who missed it or plans to use Apple’s pre-order process for a future iPhone launch.

How Apple’s Get Ready Feature Works

The Get Ready option was available through the Apple Store app and Apple’s website ahead of the iPhone 18 Pro pre-order.

Customers could select their iPhone model, color and storage configuration in advance. They could also prepare a trade-in, complete available financing or leasing pre-approval and choose accessories before pre-orders officially opened.

Once the pre-order window opened, those choices were already saved. This reduced the number of steps customers needed to complete during the initial rush.

That can make a difference when popular configurations begin showing longer delivery estimates shortly after pre-orders open.

The Deadline Has Already Passed

Apple set the Get Ready cutoff for 9 p.m. PT on Friday, September 11. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max pre-order window then opened at 5 a.m. PT on Saturday, September 12.

The quickest way to secure iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is to prepare today. Customers have until 9 a.m. PT on Friday, September 11, to bypass the morning rush by selecting their model, pairing accessories, securing leasing or financing pre-approval, and setting up their trade-in. By saving their shopping bag, they’ll be one click away when pre-orders begin on Saturday, September 12, at 5 a.m. PT.

The deadline applied to customers preparing a pre-order through Apple’s system. Customers who completed Get Ready before the cutoff could use those saved selections when the pre-order window opened.

Anyone who missed the deadline can still place an order through the normal Apple Store checkout process while stock remains available.

iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Order Details

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. Both models are available in black, silver, glacier and burgundy.

Apple began accepting pre-orders on September 12, with the first iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max deliveries scheduled for September 18.

For future iPhone launches, the Get Ready option is worth using ahead of time if Apple offers it again. Having the model, storage, trade-in and payment information prepared can make the checkout process considerably quicker once pre-orders open.
