iPhone Duo Pre-Orders in the US Now Show November Delivery

Apple has started moving up delivery estimates on some iPhone Duo pre-orders in the US and Japan. Buyers who were quoted December now see November delivery dates, and one customer in Japan is down to October 24.

YouTuber Matt Gonzalez posted on X that his iPhone Duo pre-order first showed a December estimate and now reads between November 20 and November 30. He ordered a Star White model with 512GB of storage.

US iPhone Duo Pre-Orders Are Moving From December Into Mid and Late November

A handful of other US customers say their estimates jumped by weeks too, based on posts from MacRumors forum members. Two buyers who started with a December 1 to December 8 window now see November 16 to November 23.

Pre-orders opened on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time, and Apple’s online store was already quoting January 25 for new orders within the first 30 minutes. Against that, any November date is a big step forward for the buyers who got one.

The reports so far come from a small number of customers, so there is no sign yet that every pre-order is moving. If you have one, open the order in the Apple Store app or on Apple’s website and compare the estimate with what you saw at checkout.

One customer in Japan said their iPhone Duo is now estimated to arrive on October 24. Their original estimate was December 3 to December 10. Other Japanese buyers have also seen earlier delivery dates.

The iPhone Duo goes on sale on Friday, October 23, so that order is set to land the day after launch. Stores will not be an easy shortcut either, since Apple Store employees have reportedly been told to expect no iPhone Duo stock for walk-in buyers.

A moved-up date leaves less time to get ready. The iPhone Duo is eSIM-only worldwide, so you need a carrier and a plan that support eSIM before the phone can connect.

Apple sells the iPhone Duo in Night Sky and Star White with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB of storage. It goes on sale on Friday, October 23, on apple.com and at select carriers and partner stores.
