OSX Lion has got some amazing features, right out of the box. One great little feature discovered, which is similar to the new feature in iOS 5 as well, Twitter integration. We’ve shown you how to get Google+ easily on your Mac, and now we are going to show you how you can easily tweet messages from anywhere inside of OS X Lion. The basics are just click and drag any text you want to tweet in Safari, Mail, etc. and OS X Lion grabs it and puts it into your tweet window using Twitter for Mac. Obviously, you will need Twitter for Mac installed to get this working.

The Twitter application will open a new tweet window and you will see the text you have selected inside the box. You can edit the tweet, cancel, or submit the tweet to Twitter.

Again, you will need to download the Twitter for Mac application, which you can get from here. This is a great little tip if you want the ability to quickly tweet things you find and without a lot of overhead.
