Apple now offers 293 workouts in Fitness+ in all categories

Recently, Apple added 26 new Fitness+ workout sessions in various categories. Now, the newly launched exercise service offers 293 home workouts so that subscribers can select or plan an activity routine that suits their body type, time, and fitness needs.

Introduced in September 2020 Apple Watch Series 6 event, subscription-based Fitness+ service was launched on December 14 with 10 workout categories: HIIT, cycling, yoga, dance, treadmill walking, treadmill running, strength, core, and rowing. Fitness+ trainers have curated Apple Music playlists for their workout sessions to keep users moving and motivated. This Apple Watch service is integrated across Apple devices so users can continue and monitor their progress anywhere and anytime.

Apple expanded the video catalog of all 10 workout categories. MacRumors reports that in the new video, trainer Bakari introduced the sessions as,

Here at Fitness+ more than two dozen workouts just dropped, like Sam’s 30-minute treadmill which challenges your endurance, whether you’re walking or running. For a workout that needs no equipment at all, I teach 10-minute hit with four total body moves. Each move is inspired by different sports like basketball and soccer, which go perfectly with the song “No Hands” by Waka Flocka Flame. That’s what’s new at Fitness+ to help you close your rings. Let’s go!

In recent years, the iPhone maker has broadened its reach by offering a variety of services: Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+ and iCloud. It has also launched a service bundle, Apple One which allows users to subscribe to different services for a discounted price. The workout service is designed to provide an opportunity to users to stay healthy at home, who do have the time to go to the gym. Discussing the importance of active lifestyle and accompanying challenges, Apple’s senior director of Fitness Technologies Jay said that,

“Being more active is one of the most important things we can do for our health, but we know choosing to work out can often be a challenge whether you’re very active or just getting started.”

Users can subscribe to Apple Fitness+ is for $9.99/month or $79.99/ year with a one-month free trial for existing and three months free trial for new Apple Watch owners. Apple One premier plan subscribers will get Fitness+ for $429.95/ month, along with other services included in the bundle. The subscription can be shared with up to 6 family members.
