Apple Fitness+ has announced two new workout categories are coming to the home-based workout service. Starting April 19, 2021, on Monday, Apple Fitness+ will offer new ‘Workouts for Pregnancy’ and ‘Workout for Older Adults’. And a new Yoga trainer, Jonelle Lewis is joining the Fitness+ team to bring subscribers more ways to stay healthy and active.
Currently, the exercise service has a diverse catalog with 293 workouts for subscribers to pick the ones according to their preference, body type, time, and need.
Apple Fitnesss+ expands its catalog with two new workouts and welcomes a new trainer
Announced on Fitness+ official Instagram account, the workout service is expanding its demographic by offering expecting mothers safe ways to stay healthy and active during their pregnancies. Although users focus on their health has become an important part of their daily routine, there are not many trainers who provide pregnant women safe exercises to keep healthy during that time. Since fitness is just as important for aging adults as it is for youth, Apple Fitness+ is adding new workouts targeted at the elderly keeping their age, strength, and stamina in mind.
In addition, the workout service welcomes a new member, Jonelle Lewis, a yoga trainer. And starting next week, the current rowing trainer will offer a new HIIT session, along with cardio.
For subscribers who like the outdoors, recently, the service offers new ‘Time to Walk’ workouts that allows subscribers to go out for a walk for up to 40 minutes while listening to episodes from influential entertainment, sports, current affairs, and other people as audio files for users to listen to while maintaining their good health. The episode automatically downloads on Apple Watch with a Fitness subscription and will be available in the Workout app.
Apple Fitness+ is available for $9.99/month or $79.99/ year with a one-month free trial for existing and three months free trial for new Apple Watch owners. For $429.95 per month, Apple One premier plan subscribers will get Fitness+ and other services in the bundle. Subscribers can share their plan with up to 6 family members.
