Apple One subscribers experience billing issues at expiry of free trial

Apple One bundle subscribers are reporting billing issues at the end of the service’s free-trial period. Users were charged individually for all the services included in the service bundles. One month free-trail period for Apple One ends today for those who had signed up for the bundles on the first day of release.

Apple is offering its services in the form of three tiers of packages as Apple One bundles at discounted prices. The bundles are useful for those who have already subscribed to several services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News+, Apple Arcade, and other services by Apple. Now it appears that the company is experiencing technical issues in transitioning the bundles from free-trial to monthly payments phase.

Apple One Service Bundles

The company offers three tiers of bundles:

  1. Individual: For $14.95 monthly, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage. Saves $6 per month.
  2. Family: For $19.95 monthly, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage for $19.95. The bundle can be shared with up to 6 family members via Apple ID. Saves $8 per month.
  3. Premier: For $29.95 monthly, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage which can be shared with up to six family members. Saves $25 per month.

Premier is the only bundle that includes the upcoming Apple Fitness+ service. The new fitness service will offer a variety of workout videos by well-known trainers. The highlight feature of the service is that users’ workout metrics will be displayed across iPhone, iPad and Apple TV directly from Apple Watch so that users not only watch their workout on bigger screens but also monitor their workout progress on them. As Apple Fitness+ is scheduled to release in ‘later 2020’ and we are only a month away from the start of next year, therefore, it is expected to launch soon.

In addition, the Premier Apple One bundle is only available in select regions where Apple News+ is available: the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia.
