Apple TV+ offers viewers the behind the scenes of ‘Earth at Night in Color’

Apple has just shared a behind the scenes look at Earth at Night In Color, a docuseries which recently premiered on Apple TV+ that highlights the life of animals at night. The series uses editing and cutting-edge camera technology to show us how animals live in the dark in a quality that has never been seen before.

Apple TV+ is the Cupertino tech giant’s video streaming service which offers a variety of original content including drama, kids shows, movies, talk shows, documentaries, and more. In a short span of time, since its launch, the service has won accolades and nominations for titles like Peanuts, The Morning Show, and others.

The behind the scenes look at Earth at Night in Color posted on the Apple TV+ YouTube channel today gives viewers a glimpse into the show’s equipment, videography techniques, and production process.

“Go inside the making of Earth At Night In Color, a new docuseries on the wonders of nature’s creatures at night. Captured by cutting-edge camera technology, watch stories in the wild as you’ve never seen before, now on Apple TV+”

The video shows viewers how filmmakers managed to capture stunning footage of animals at night using new cameras and some editing. Earth at Night in Color, which is narrated by Tom Hiddleston, features six episodes that are all streaming now.

“Narrated by Tom Hiddleston and filmed across six continents, this docuseries uses cutting-edge camera technology to capture animals’ nocturnal lives, revealing new behaviors filmed in full color like never before.”

In the video, the film crew also discussed the difficulty they had to face when getting footage in unfavorable conditions like pitch-black jungles and tundras that were freezing. What is even more impressive is that they managed to work in these adverse conditions without disturbing their subjects.
