Apple TV+ Original comedy series ‘Shrinking’ will release on January 27, 2023

Apple TV+ today dropped the first official teaser for its upcoming comedy series “Shrinking,” starring Harrison Ford and Jason Segal. The streaming service has also confirmed the release date for the series.

“Shrinking” stars Harrison Ford, Jason Segel, Jessica Williams, and Luke Tennie. The ten-episode series follows a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) specialist who is suddenly faced with grief. Subsequently, he starts to ignore rules and ethics and instead, decides to tell clients exactly what he feels about certain situations that they are dealing with.

“Shrinking” follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.

 

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Lawrence’s Doozer Productions. Lawrence, Segel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer serve as executive producers. “Ted Lasso” executives Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein serve as writers on the show.

The first two episodes of “Shrinking” will debut on January 27, 2023. After that, Apple TV+ will release the remaining 8 episodes on a weekly basis, every Friday. For $6.99 per month with a seven-day free trial, Apple’s streaming service is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV via the Apple TV app.
