iOS 27 is adding eight new Hermès MagSafe wallet designs featuring Find My support, according to code discovered by leaker pdfu. The new styles include bandana print card holders in purple, brown, and orange; tartan stitched designs in purple and brown; plain leather versions in navy and burgundy; and a crocodile embossed option.
This marks the first substantial design expansion for Hermès wallets since 2020, when Apple first launched the partnership. Hermès currently sells around half a dozen MagSafe card holder designs through its online store, including silk Bandana Eperon d’Or, Jean patch, and Pencils patterns; the new lineup essentially doubles the available options.
iOS 27’s release candidate includes a custom attachment animation specifically for Hermès MagSafe wallets, separate from the standard animation that plays when other MagSafe wallets are attached. The leaker’s post showed how the animation appears when a Hermès wallet connects to an iPhone, suggesting Apple is treating the luxury line as a distinct category within the Wallet ecosystem. Most MagSafe wallets trigger the same generic attachment feedback. A dedicated animation shows that Hermès wallets are positioned as premium accessories worthy of their own visual flourish.

Find My integration for Hermès wallets addresses a feature users have requested for years. Until now, MagSafe wallets had no tracking capability beyond the built-in Find My support for AirTags that users could add separately. Baking Find My directly into the wallet means losing or misplacing a Hermès card holder becomes trackable without an extra accessory. The feature requires both hardware and software alignment, and the fact that it’s arriving now suggests Apple’s engineering teams solved compatibility barriers between the wallet’s MagSafe mechanism and Find My tracking infrastructure.
Apple switched Hermès MagSafe wallets from leather to FineWoven material in recent years, a move that drew mixed reactions from luxury buyers. The design itself has remained unchanged since launch. These new colorways and patterns represent the first meaningful design variety under that FineWoven material, suggesting Apple and Hermès are committed to expanding the line despite material criticism.
iOS 27 launches publicly today. The full roster of new Hermès wallets should appear in the Wallet app and through Hermès’ own store in the coming weeks, though Apple has not yet announced official availability or pricing.
