Apple releases macOS Ventura 13.2 to all users

Apple has released macOS Ventura 13.2 to all users. The first beta for this update was made available just a day after macOS Ventura 13.1 was released to the general public with a new Freeform app for creative collaboration, advanced data protection for additional iCloud services through end-to-end encryption, and multiple bug fixes and improvements.

January 23 – Apple has released the final version of macOS 13.2 to all users. Here are the complete release notes:

This update introduces Security Keys for Apple ID, and includes other enhancements and bug fixes for your Mac.

•Security Keys for Apple ID allow users to strengthen the security of their account by requiring a physical security key to sign in

•Fixes an issue in Freeform where some drawing strokes created with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards

•Fixes an issue where VoiceOver may stop offering audio feedback while you are typing

macOS Ventura 13.2 release candidate

January 18 – Apple has seeded the first release candidate for macOS 13.2. The final version is expected to release before February 3 to the general public.

macOS Ventura 13.2 beta 2

January 10 – Apple has released the second beta build to developers after a long break. The release notes do not mention any new changes. We will update this post if we find any updates.

macOS Ventura 13.2 beta 1

December 14 – Apple has not shared any information about the new changes in this beta release. The release notes just mention a resolved bug related to ServiceManagement:

  • Fixed a regression in Ventura 13.1 that prevented daemons from being registered with SMAppService. Also fixed, toggling items on or off in Login Items may cause items to be ungrouped or deleted. (102938063)

If you already have the developer beta profile installed on your Mac, from Apple Developer Center, simply go to System Settings > General > Software Updates, to download and install the new beta update. 

Apple also released iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 beta 1, tvOS 16.3 beta 1, and watchOS 9.3 beta 1 to developers today. The public beta updates are usually released a few weeks after the developer betas.
