Moment Pro Camera II now gives iPhone 18 Po users more control over the phone’s variable aperture camera. The app lets you set the aperture anywhere from f/1.48 to f/4.0, with adjustments available in 1/3-stop increments.
The new controls also work with the app’s Exposure Priorities modes. You can choose an aperture yourself in Auto Priority or Shutter Priority, leave it to the app, or switch to Manual mode when you want full control over the exposure.
Set The Aperture From f/1.48 To f/4.0
The aperture control covers the full range available on the iPhone 18 Pro. Instead of choosing from a limited number of settings, you can adjust the aperture in 1/3-stop steps between f/1.48 and f/4.0.
This gives you more precise control when shooting with the variable aperture camera, particularly when you want to change the aperture while keeping the rest of your shooting setup intact.
Variable Aperture Works With Exposure Priorities
Moment Pro Camera II also adds variable aperture control to Exposure Priorities. In Auto Priority, you can choose the aperture while allowing the app to handle the other exposure settings automatically.
Shutter Priority gives you another way to control the shot while setting the aperture, while Manual mode puts the exposure settings under your control. If you would rather not adjust the aperture yourself, it can also be left on automatic.
More Control Over The iPhone 18 Pro Camera
The update is built around the iPhone 18 Pro’s variable aperture system, giving Moment Pro Camera II users more ways to work with it. The aperture can be adjusted across the full f/1.48 to f/4.0 range, while the Exposure Priorities modes provide different levels of control depending on how much of the exposure you want to set yourself.
