New MacBook Pro models with Intel Core i7, i5 processors are now available on Apple website

It was being expected since a long time that Apple will release their new Macbook Pro lineup with Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The rumors were that they would launch new MacBook Pros today (Tuesday 13th April), which have turned out to be true. These new Mac Book Pros have Corei7, Corei5 and Core 2 Duo mobile processors in them as well as new automated graphics technology.

New Mac Book Pros

The new 15inch or 17inch Mac Book Pros have Intel Core i5 and Core i7 in them respectively, which boosts the performance 50 percent than the previous generation. They also have new graphic switching technology which gives switches graphics processors on the fly to provide better performance and battery efficiency.

New 13-inch Mac Book Pros have new NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processors which gives up to 80 percent faster graphics performance and battery life of about 10 hours. So, 13 inch MacBook Pro has better battery life than other models, as the 15inch models has 8 to 9 hours battery life and 17 inch model has 8 to 9 hours.

New 13 inch MacBook Pros are available in three models that are:

  1. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics and 250GB hard drive at $1,199.00
  2. 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics and 320GB hard drive at $1,499.00

New 15 inch MacBook Pros are available in three models that are:

  1. 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and 320GB hard drive at $1,799.
  2. 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and 500GB hard drive at $1,999
  3. 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and 500GB hard drive at $2,199.

New 17 inch MacBook Pro has a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and 500GB hard drive which will cost  $2,299.

All the new MacBook Pros are now available on the Apple website.
