OS X 10.11.2 beta goes out to developers

Apple has released OS X 10.11.2 beta 1 to developers. The build number is 15C27e and it is available in Apple Developer Center for download.

OS X 10.11.2 beta 1 follows up closely to the release of OS X 10.11.1 which was released almost a week ago with new emojis and bug fixes.

This makes it the third release for El Capitan, Apple’s latest OS X version. El Capitan has received positive reviews from users due to performance and battery life improvements as well as app updates which make the operating system more power user friendly.

As per the release notes, the focus areas for OS X 10.11.2 are:

  • Graphics
  • Mail
  • Wi-Fi
  • Calendar
  • USB
  • Notes
  • Photos
  • Spotlight

The update is 1.34GB in size. We are downloading the update as we speak and will report back with the updates included in this release. If you are registered developer, you can go to the Apple Developer Center to download this update. Other users should wait for the public beta release which should be out soon.
