Updated Ultrasn0w Unlock For iOS 4.3.1 Release Announced !

Today, an official announcement from the iPhone Dev-Team member @MuscleNerd confirms that an update to the ultrasn0w software unlocking solution for iPhone 4/3GS on iOS 4.3.1 will be released in the next few days. Though he stressed once again that its merely an iOS 4.3.1 compatibility fix for already unlock-able basebands by the current ultrasn0w version. No newer baseband unlock support will be added for either iPhone 4 or 3GS.

Here is what MuscleNerd said on Twitter :

The 4.3.1 issues (signal bars, etc) are fixed http://is.gd/OYktXf but need a few days to test all devices + FW (again: not a new unlock!)

It’s probably confusing, so worth repeating: this isn’t a new unlock. It’s a compatibility fix for current unlockers only

Even though he hasn’t given us an ETA but its most likely going to happen this weekend or may be earlier. By sure to stay tuned as we’ll update you the moment its released to public.
