Apple TV+ has ordered ‘Hello Tomorrow!”series starring Billy Crudup

Apple TV+ has ordered a new drama series ” Hello Tomorrow!” which will star Emmy and Critics Choice Award winner Billy Crudup. Currently, Crudup stars in ‘The Morning Show” award-winning Apple TV+ series and in 2020, he also won the Emmy for best-supporting actor in the series.

Hello Tomorrow will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle and is written and created by Amit Bhalla and Lucas Jansen. Along with Billy Crudup, Entwistle and Bhalla will serve as executive producers. In addition, Blake Griffin, Ryan Kalil and Noah Weinstein will executive produce through their banner Mortal Media.

Apple TV+ orders new drama series ‘Hello Tomorrow!” set in retro-future world

The new drama series will have 10 episodes. Each 30 minutes long episode will tell a story of a talented and driven salesman, Jack played by Crudup.

Set in a retro-future world, “Hello Tomorrow!” centers around a group of traveling salesmen hawking lunar timeshares. Crudup stars as Jack, a salesman of great talent and ambition, whose unshakeable faith in a brighter tomorrow inspires his coworkers, revitalizes his desperate customers but threatens to leave him dangerously lost in the very dream that sustains him.

With the new drama series, Apple and MRC Television have extended their collaboration on Apple TV+ original content.

The series order also marks another collaboration between Apple and MRC Television, the studio behind upcoming Apple Original series “Shining Girls,” starring Emmy Award winner Elisabeth Moss, based on the best-selling novel by Lauren Beukes and is being adapted for television and executive produced by Silka Luisa; and, the limited series “The Shrink Next Door,” in association with Civic Center Media, which stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Kathryn Hahn and Casey Wilson, from director Michael Showalter and showrunner Georgia Pritchett. – Apple

Apple TV+ is diversifying its catalog by acquiring new projects. Recently, the video streaming service won the bid for ‘Finch‘ sci-fi movie starring Tom Hanks, acquired rights to Broadway’s ‘Come From Away‘ show and others.
