Apple TV+ official trailer of Lisey’s Story thriller series is out now

Apple TV+ has launched the official trailer of its upcoming horror-thriller series ‘Lisey’s Story. Scheduled to premiere on June 4, the new series stars the Academy Award winner Julianne Moore, and Academy Award nominee Clive Owen, the series is an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel ‘Lisey’s Story’. The other cast members are Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Dane DeHaan.

Written by the legendary writer himself, Stephen King, the series is directed by Pablo Larrain and produced by Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The executive producers are King, Moore, and Pablo Larraín, along with Abrams, Ben Stephenson, and Juan de Dios Larraín.

Release on Apple TV+ official YouTube channel, the trailer teases the drama, thrill, suspense, and horror of the upcoming series. The 8 episodes of this limited edition series will tell the awakening journey of the woman who is struggling to differentiate between reality and the imaginary world created by her late eccentric husband, discovering that “there’s a darkness within us that lives on without us.”

Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, and adapted by the author himself, “Lisey’s Story” is a deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey Landon (Academy Award winner Julianne Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Academy Award nominee Clive Owen). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind.

“Lisey’s Story” will join upcoming limited series set to premiere on Apple TV+ including “The Shrink Next Door,” based on the No. 1 new podcast of 2019 by Wondery and Bloomberg Media, and starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Kathryn Hahn; “Hedy Lamarr,” starring and executive produced by Gal Gadot, and written and executive produced by Golden Globe Award winner Sarah Treem; “Five Days At Memorial,” a new limited series from Academy Award winner John Ridley; and the recently announced “WeCrashed,” starring Academy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Jared Leto and Academy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Anne Hathaway.
