Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a one-year limited hardware repair warranty and 90 days of complimentary technical support but the coverage does not cover accidental damages. Apple Watch Series 8 owners can purchase AppleCare+ for extended coverage against accidental damages.

Here are the prices for the Apple Watch Series 8 screen and battery repair, with and without AppleCare+.

    • $299 without warranty
    • $69 with AppleCare+
  • Battery replacement
    • $79 without warranty for all 45mm, and 41mm models in aluminum, and stainless steel finishes. 
    • $0 with AppleCare+ if the smartwatch’s battery health is below 80% of its original capacity. 

Apple Watch Series 8

AppleCare+ plan for Apple Watch Series 8 is available for $3.99 per month or $79 per two years. The coverage includes unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by phone or chat for hardware and software-related issues. However, each incident of damage is subject to a $69 service fee.
