Meta has announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first audio glasses, starting at $349 with shipping on October 13. The company also launched Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) from $449 and added new Meta Glasses styles, one of which starts at $249.
The announcements came at Connect on September 23. Meta says it will offer more than 100 different glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses by the end of the year.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio Weighs 43 Grams and Lasts Up to 12 Hours
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is the lightest and slimmest pair of Meta AI glasses so far. It is built around music, podcasts, calls and hands-free talks with Meta’s AI assistant, and Meta says the microphones pick up a voice more clearly than earbuds do.
Battery life reaches up to 12 hours on a single charge, with another 48 hours available from the included charging case. The fit can be adjusted with professional-adjustable temple tips, adjustable or swappable nose pads and overextension hinges. The glasses come in 23 color and lens combinations across two new styles, Clubmaster and Burbank, and both work with a wide range of optical prescriptions.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) Is Available Today
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is the next generation of Meta’s best-selling AI glasses. It comes in 27 color and lens combinations across Aviator, Zena, a new cat-eye frame, and Wayfarer. Meta is also releasing a limited-edition Aviator in a vintage-inspired colorway to mark the 90th anniversary of the Ray-Ban Aviator.
- Battery: up to nine hours, one hour more than Gen 2
- Microphones: a new six-microphone array that cuts more than 90 percent of background noise
- Camera: 12 MP photos and 3K Ultra HD video, with dynamic photos that let you pick the best frame
- Controls: a new customizable action button for instant access to Meta AI
- Audio capture: Dolby Atmos video with 360-degree spatial sound, coming later this year
Every generation of the glasses includes a built-in LED that tells people nearby when photos or video are being captured, and Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is available today starting at $449.

Any pair can also be customized through Meta’s Mix and Match program at a Meta Lab store or online.
The most affordable pair yet is a new Meta Adventurer with a black frame, gray lenses and a plug-in case. It is available for pre-order now and goes on sale October 23. Meta is also showing a limited-edition Meta Fury with a clear frame and mirrored lenses, available only at Connect and Meta Labs at launch.
