New Apple Card Ad Pitches One-Minute Applications on iPhone

Apple released a new Apple Card ad on November 6 that says you can apply for the card on your iPhone in as little as a minute. Seeing your credit limit and interest rate offer does not affect your credit score, but accepting the offer leads to a hard inquiry that can.

The 35-second spot is set in a therapy session and pitches how quickly you can apply on your iPhone. Apple says you can use the card right away with Apple Pay, with no wait for a physical card.

What the Apple Card Ad Means for Your Credit Score

You apply in the Wallet app, and Apple Card is open only to qualifying applicants in the United States. Your approval depends on your credit, and you need an iPhone or iPad on the latest iOS or iPadOS to get the full set of Apple Card features. The hard inquiry after you accept is the one credit effect to plan around, since checking your offer first costs your score nothing.

Daily Cash Pays 3% at Apple and 2% With Apple Pay

You get 3% Daily Cash at Apple and at select merchants such as Nike, Uber and Walgreens when you pay with Apple Card through Apple Pay. Every other Apple Pay purchase earns 2%, and you get 1% when you pay with the titanium card itself. Apple puts no cap on how much Daily Cash you can earn.

At Apple, products you buy with Apple Card Monthly Installments earn 3% Daily Cash up front on the purchase price, and the installments carry 0% APR. Apple Card Family lets you share the account with people in your Family Sharing group, and each member earns Daily Cash on their own purchases. Partner perks include 2% Booking.com Travel Credits and a six-month Uber One trial, both through exclusive links.

The card has no annual, late or foreign transaction fees. Variable APRs run from 17.74% to 27.99% as of October 1, 2026, depending on your credit, and a late or missed payment still adds interest.

Goldman Sachs Still Issues Apple Card Until Chase Takes Over

Goldman Sachs Bank USA issues Apple Card today, and you can send your Daily Cash into an Apple Card Savings account that pays 3.50% APY as of September 23, 2026.

Apple announced on January 7 that Chase will become the new issuer in approximately 24 months, and you can keep using the card as usual until then. Mastercard stays the payment network after the switch.
