We are possibly only seven days away from Apple’s biggest event of the year to unveil next-generation iPhone 13 series, iPad, MacBook Pro, and other products. The invitations have not gone out yet, but a UK carrier teases the event date of the iPhone 13 event.
Sky Mobile is asking its customers to register for the “next-generation” products to treat themselves “to something new”. And the carrier specifies that the users must register before September 14 to avail of an exclusive Sky Mobile offer. Industry sources have been reporting September 14 as the alleged date of Apple’s upcoming event. Although the carrier did not specify any product, it offers deals on sims, mobiles, tablets, and TV subscriptions.
Expected new products at Apple September event
The upcoming event will be hosted virtually like other events since the outbreak of the COVID1-19 pandemic. Supply chain sources have confirmed iPhone 13 is the name of the upcoming smartphone series. The branding appeared on alleged iPhone cases and sealing stickers as well. The new iPhone series will feature a smaller notch, larger and improved display, upgraded camera system, and more. In addition, AirPods 3, iPad mini, and iPad 9 models are also expected.
Although Apple was reportedly to launch Apple Watch Series 7 and M1X MacBook Pro models at the September event, recent news of production delays hint that the devices might be delayed. Apple Watch Series 7 has a completely new complicated design than its predecessor models which is the cause of production delay. 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by the next-generation M1X Apple Silicon are facing production delays because of the global chip shortage.
Based on the number of new products, it is also reported that the company might hold a series of events in September to launch next-generation devices instead of holding multiple events over a period of months like last year. In 2020, the company held separate September, October, and November events.
