Apple has released the 6th beta for tvOS 9.2 to developers. The new build is version 13Y5232a and is available for download from the Apple Developer Center.
Apple has included a number of new featured in tvOS 9.2 which include a new redesigned app switcher, folders support, Bluetooth keyboard pairing, iCloud Photos Library and Live Photos, Siri dictation support for all text and password fields as well as performance improvements. The new updates really enhance the user experience as per the impressions by developers who are running tvOS 9.2 although not everybody is a fan of the new app switcher.
Apple has already released a number of tvOS betas to developers. The new update is expected to be released to all users before the end of this month, likely at Apple’s 21 March event.
If you are registered with Apple as a developer, you can download the update from Apple Developer Center. You will have to download the restore image from Apple’s Developer website to update Apple TV via iTunes on Mac. Alternatively, you can also download the configuration profile for over-the-air update via Apple configurator.
